biography

Francesca Cogni,1980 Milano, Italy.

Artist and videomaker. She makes experimental films, animations, carnet de voyage. She works alone, and develops projects also in collaboration with musicians, architects, dancers, directors in transectorial projects. She took part to several exibithions and festivals in Europe. She works around tales generated by the space, observing terrirories and journies. These stories become series of drawings, videos, books and installations. In 2008 she founded with D. De Mattia TooA Cultural Association, that promotes site-specific artistical and cultural projects in relation with territories. Donatello De Mattia, born in Bari, Italy 1970

Architect, artist, videomaker. He works in the field of architecture and urbanism. Its production includes video, sound, drawing, photography, relational projects. In his films he uses video as a tool for visual investigation and analysis of urban and extra-urban space. He has taken part or created different collective projects (such as Multiplicity, Stalker / osservatorioNomade, AvanguardiePermanenti, Officina Plug-ins NetworkVisionProject) and individual research. In 2008 he founded with Francesca Cogni TooA Cultural Association, which provides site-specific art project in connection with the territories and memoirs (www.tooa.it).
